Individual Tutoring

Individual tutoring is provided by qualified Reed students of advanced standing and is available to all enrolled students to assist with courses they are currently registered for and are attending. To receive tutoring, students should consult the list below and email the tutors listed for the course they need tutoring in. Students and tutors can arrange to meet for one hour per week at a time and location of their choosing.

If you use the "email group" function, please show your appreciation for the tutors that reply by letting them know if you've found someone else to work with. When tutors respond to say they're free and eager to work with you, it's disappointing if they never hear from you again. They really do want to help!

Specialized tutoring and additional hours of assistance may be available for students with documented disabilities. These accommodations must be approved by student services directly. If you have any questions, please contact Theresa Lowrie.

In addition to individual tutoring, drop-in tutoring for a variety of subjects is available at the Dorothy Johansen House.

In order to ensure student privacy, the list of tutor names are only available to computers on-campus or via Reed's Remote Access Proxy.

If you can not find a tutor or have other questions, please contact Julie Maxfield (x7722) and she will assist you.
